The Sunday before Easter (known as “Palm Sunday”) was when Jesus rode into Jerusalem as a victorious King, with crowds flocking to him and waving palm branches.
Israel’s strength and consolation,
hope of all the earth thou art;
dear desire of every nation,
joy of every longing heart.
See Him in Jerusalem
Walking where the crowds are
Once these streets had sung to Him
Now they cry for murder
